BIIAB Level 1 Award in Introduction to Employment in the Hospitality Industry

Duration: 69 Guided Learning Hours

Summary

The AIEHI is a new qualification in hospitality intended to equip entry level job-seekers with relevant industry knowledge and an understanding of the job roles and skills. It gives the individual confidence and motivation to adjust quickly to the workplace. Learners will also achieve an important national standard which is recognised by employers.

Upon successful completion of the qualification, learners will receive a certificate for the Level 1 AIEHI as well as the Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering. Who is eligible?

• New staff to the hospitality sector
• Anyone who has previously worked in hospitality and requires a refresher
• People who are returning to work after a break or looking for a career change.

The AIEHI, is accredited by OfQual on the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) and covers 5 units essential for working in the hospitality sector
