This qualification has been developed to help you understand key food safety issues and introduce you to basic food hygiene principles.
You need this qualification if:
- you work in a food environment and have minimal or no prior food safety knowledge
- you handle low-risk or wrapped foods
- you are a front of house employee in a food environment, such as waiting or check out staff
- you are a back of house employee in a food environment, such as kitchen porters or warehouse staff
